As part of the Towns ongoing efforts to assess and enhance our sewer capacity, we are conducting an exercise over the next three weeks that involves measuring basement elevations in residential properties in your neighbourhood. The purpose of this survey is to gather essential data that will enable us to evaluate our system, identify potential issues, and plan for necessary upgrades and maintenance.
We kindly request your cooperation in scheduling an appointment, allowing our designated surveyor access to your home for the sole purpose of measuring the basement floor elevation.
Our survey technician will produce proper Town of Fort Erie identification prior to entry and surveys will be conducted during regular business hours, 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday; they should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
