The Watermain Dead End Project consists of various roads in the Crescent Park area within Ward #3. These roads include Ferndale Avenue, Daytona Drive, Lakeview Road, Grandview Road and Fairview Road from Dominion Road to the south limits.

The general scope of work includes:

  • Replacement of the existing 100 mm diameter cast iron watermains with 150 mm diameter PVC watermain, including looping or other acceptable dead end elimination methods and, replacement of all services up to/including curb stops at the property line.
  • Replacement of the existing 200mm diameter asbestos cement sanitary sewers including maintenance holes and services to the property line.
  • Improvements to the stormwater drainage works.
  • Full reconstruction of five (5) associated road sections with shoulders.
  • New streetlights, as required.
