The Lindbergh Drive and Burbank Terrace area is located in the Bridgeburg section of Fort Erie that extends from Burbank Terrace to Burns Place and Bowen Road to Lindbergh Drive.

A risk analysis of this area was conducted through the Town's Asset Management Plan.

The results of the risk analysis showed that that these sections of Lindbergh Drive (about 730m) and Burbank Terrance (about 100m) required the following work:

Lindbergh Drive from Burbank Terrace to Burns Place

  • Replacement of the existing 150 mm diameter asbestos cement watermain with 150 mm diameter PVC watermain, including replacement of all services up to/including curb stops,
  • Improvement to the stormwater drainage works, including new storm sewers, roadside swales and ditches with catchbasin outlets
  • Replacement of the existing 300 mm diameter asbestos cement sanitary sewer, including replacement/relining of laterals up to property limits,
  • Full reconstruction of Lindbergh Drive from Burbank Terrace to Burns Place with shoulders
