Nigh Road Watermain Extension

The Nigh Road Watermain project area is located along Nigh road from Ridge Road North to Prospect Point Road North. The Water Distribution System Master Plan recommended the installation of a new watermain to link the existing dead-end watermain on Prospect Point Road North to the existing watermain on Ridge Road North. The results of the Water Distribution System Master Plan showed that looping the watermain will have a positive effect on water quality and reduce the need to flush the dead-end watermain.

The Nigh road watermain extension will consist of the following work:

• Installation of new 150mm diameter PVC watermain along Nigh Road North side of the Town right of way, including replacement of existing hydrants and watermain valves.

• Road Resurfacing of Nigh Road from Prospect Point Road North to Ridge Road North with granular shoulders.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town is moving away from traditional, in-house, public consultations and is transitioning to host our Public Consultations online. This online public consultation provides residents with the opportunity to provide feedback about the results of the study conducted.
