Consultation has concluded

The Prospect Point Road North Upgrade Project area is located in the Ridgeway section of Fort Erie that extends from Cutler Street in the north to Highland Drive the south.

The timing of the project is driven by the Dominion Woods Phase 2 Condominium development located on the east side of Prospect Point Road North, north of the Friendship Trail as well as the developments located on the east and west sides of Prospect Point Road North, between Thunder Bay Road and Highland Drive.

The Prospect Point Road North upgrade was identified in the 2014 Development Charges Background Study.

The general scope of work for this project includes full reconstruction and upgrade of the existing road section to an urban cross-section including installation of storm sewer infrastructure, new sidewalks and concrete curb and gutter.

Additional Scope has been added to complete Prospect Point Road North from Cutler Street to Dominion Road. The scope of work would include concrete curb repairs, extension of sidewalk to Dominion Road that fronts 3583 Dominion Road, catch basin adjustments and surface course asphalt placement.

Virtual Public Consultation

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town is moving away from traditional, in-house, public consultations and is transitioning to host our Public Consultations online. This online public consultation provides residents with the opportunity to review the associated documents relating to the project and provide feedback on this project prior to construction.

A question submission period will open from Monday, July 10, 2023 to Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
