The construction is proposed to begin in the summer of 2023, however given the time of year it is at the contractors discretion on when to begin the work. A project notice will be circulated to the residents and businesses once a pre-construction meeting has been held.  

The project will last 40 working days or approximately 2 months.

You can expect some disruption to accessing your property however the contractor will notify you whenever access will be restricted and will reinstate before the end of the working day.

The Town of Fort Erie has an “As good or better” policy: the contractor must replace and repair any damage caused during construction.   It is important to note that aspects of the road within the Town’s right of way may be altered.
